Join a trip to Tromsø Museum to see the exhibits about sea birds populating the coastal cliffs during summertime, and get an introduction to each species. After abour 30 minutes you head to the harbour to get dressed and ready for the adventurous part of the tour. The rest of the trip goes by zodiac, stopping at various locations known for bird life and beautiful scenery.
Harbor seals are often seen popping their heads up from the water, or laying at the waterfront resting, both pups and adults. If you are lucky, you might also see the small harbor porpoises. Shags and the white-tailed eagle is a common sight in the area – as well as puffins, guillemots, theists, and European storm petrels.
