Check-in and check-out

Check-in is normally from 15:00 / 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. If you arrive after our opening hours, you will find an envelope with your name in a gray mailbox by the door of the reception. In this envelope, you will find your keys and info showing where your cabin is located. If you have any questions when you arrive outside of our opening hours, you can reach our security company on our main number all night. (Tel. 0047 776 38 037 ) Please contact the reception before 12:00 / 12.00 pm the next day to confirm your arrival. We also appreciate if you contact us before arrival if you know that you will arrive after we close for the evening. Check-out is before 12:00 / 12.00 noon on the day of departure. Please deliver your keys and keycards at the reception when you leave. If you check out before the opening hours of the reception, please leave your keys in the grey mailbox outside the reception.

How do we pay for our stay?

Tromsø Lodge & Camping require pre-payment for direct bookings. Please follow the link below and do the following: Add your booking/reference number and the e-mail address provided when booking. http://online.techotel.dk/Common/Checkout.aspx?hotelid=97538&lang=en Cancellations made within the free cancellation period (individual guests) will be refunded immediately in accordance to our cancellation policies. How do we get to/from the airport?

Taxi Ask our front desk staff – They will of course help you to book a taxi from the camping to the airport. Are you going to hit one of the morning flights, we recommend you to book a taxi one day in advance. Normal price to and from the airport is NOK 250-NOK 350. City bus Alternatively, you could use the city buses to get to and from the airport. From the airport, take bus 24 all the way to the bus stop called “Båthavna” across the Tromsø bridge. This trip takes about 45 minutes. From the bus stop “Båthavna” it’s a 10mins walk up the valley along the river to get to the camping. Bus tickets could be bought either by cash (NOK only) on the bus, or by credit card in the bus app, SVIPPER. If you’re planning on using the bus more during your stay, there are also weekly and daily tickets available for sale.

Are the cabins heated?

All our cabins are heated with no extra cost. We use electric heaters for heating.

Enjoy a delicious lunch in our inviting restaurant, the perfect place to unwind. We serve lunch every day, offering tasty dishes such as our signature fish soup, fresh salads, mouth-watering pizzas, Angus burgers, and delicate sandwiches, among others.

Friday taco’s at Tromsø Lodge & Camping

“Taco-fredag” is perhaps the most important day of the week for most Norwegians. And we aim to honor this tradition, by offering a taco buffet for all guests and visitors of Tromsø Lodge & Camping. – Join in on the feast, and eat as much as you can!

Served every friday from 6.00 PM – 8.00 PM (18.00 – 20.00) in our restaurant.
